There are a multitude of skills available in Ethyrial. These can be both combat and non-combat specific. Skills are the base level of your character for how well either your Spells or [[weapons] perform, the higher the level your skill is, the more damage your auto attacks and spells can do.

Combat Skills

Combat skills encompass skills which are primarily leveled through combat activities that deal damage to enemies or heal allies.

Arcane Arts

Arcane Magic skills scale with INT, are mainly range with a mixture of melee and self buffs. Notable effects are
  • "Arcane Instability": Unleashes a nova of arcane energies upon reaching 6 stacks, dealing arcane damage.
  • "Arcane Focus": Upon reaching 5 stacks your next spell does 15% increased damage.

Elemental

  • Cryomancy
Cryomancy, has ice element base skills; skills are Aoe, CC effects. Cryomancy scales off INT
  • Pyromancy
Pyromancy, has fire element based skills; Skills are high damage, AoE, Dot dealing, Mana heavy. Pyromancy scales off INT.
  • Anemancy

Geomancy, has earth element base skills; skills are effective tanking skills, both melee and range based skills. Mostly known for is slowly attack effects and reducing damage. Scales with INT.
  • Hydromancy

Electromancy, has electric element based skills; skills are high damage, AoE. Electromancy scales off INT.

Mysticism

  • Empyrean
Empyrean is a skill that uses the divine element. Skills with Empyrean scale with STR, INT, WIS. The Empyrean spells are known for their paladin like features, that being tanking, buffing and healing. The build is tricky and relies on micro managing your ability stacks, mana and health. It's recommended you do not use a shield with this class until the later levels, opting to use a wand or staff instead.
  • "Dragons zeal": Used to invoke the powers of Ethersalos. Up to 5 stacks.
  • "Dragons Light": Increase healing done by 5% for each nearby enemy effected by dragon's light.
  • "Empyrean Brand": Triggers a pulse of healing around target once it reaches 3 stacks.
  • Spiritualism
Spiritualism, has Nature element based skills; mostly know for healing skills. Skills in Spiritualism scale with INT and WIS.
  • Demonism
Demonism, has Demonic element based skills; mostly know for it's power and self healing. The Demonism for Melee tanking. Skills scale with STR and INT.
Shadow Magic, has shadow element based skills; the skills Shadow Magic use are melee and range, scaling off INT.

Non-Combat Skills

Professions

Profession skills allow you to create various items such as potions, armor, weapons and food. Unlike combat skills, they do not result in the character attributes scaling. There are currently 11 different profession skills, and characters are not limited in how many professions they use or progress.
